I was wrong in my last post, thankfully. And a bonus goal by little Stevie Gerrard!
It’s extra nice to watch an England game (when they win) because I know that my dad is down the road watching it too, and my brothers are in England watching it… and my relatives in Australia… and perhaps, around the world, also other English people I know and love. We all saw Crouchie score. (And probably a lot of us also wished he would do The Crouch.) I like to think of my brothers cheering simultaneously, several thousand miles away. They all sort of cheer in the same way, which is adorable.
